Daniel J. Treier
Daniel Treier (b. 1972) is an American Presbyterian theologian and is Blanchard Professor of Theology at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL where he has taught since
- Prior to Wheaton College, Treier lectured at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School as Instructor of Biblical and Systematic Theology^[1]^ and at Cornerstone University. He has an M.Div. (1996) and Th.M. (1998) from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Systematic Theology (2002) under the supervision of Kevin Vanhoozer. His revised dissertation was published as Virtue and the Voice of God: Toward Theology as Wisdom (2006).
Treier is an expert in theological hermeneutics, and is the associate editor for the Dictionary for Theological Interpretation of the Bible (2005).^ [2]^
